Training and employment of University

Based on the Company’s belief in the future role of university students in the society and labor market, and with the objectives of reducing unemployment and preparing those students while studying to enter the labor market, and gaining practical experiences at large industrial institutions, which facilitates getting employed after graduation, Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. trains university students and fresh graduates of all majors as interns at its laboratories and all the fields and managerial locations. All that training is done based on the wide and various experiences the Company has acquired, the availability of technical and laboratory equipment, and different pilot plants. Out of those interns, the Company selects the qualified ones for full employment, according to the available vacancies, at either the managerial locations or the several sites.

The internship duration lasts for eight weeks. In addition to the practical and field training, the Company senior staff takes part in this program through giving the interns lectures and the needed information.

The fields of specialties covered by this internship:

Engineers and geologists are trained for 6 months according to a signed agreement with each of the concerned professional association. Those two fields of professions are representing the main businesses that the Company is running. By the end of the internship, the Company contracts some of the interns according to the available vacancies,The Company also accepts interns with other specialties such as engineering, programming, marketing, and accounting.
