Amman, July 30 (Petra) -Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) reported a post-tax net profit of JD235.1 million for the first half of 2026, despite regional challenges, rising raw material costs, and supply chain disruptions.

According to financial disclosures filed with the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), JPMC's net sales reached JD717 million in the first six months of the year, marking a 19% increase from JD602 million during the same period in 2025.

JPMC also reported "positive operational" results across its production subsidiaries.

In this context, fertilizer production at JPMC's Aqaba Industrial Complex grew 2%, while sales increased 7% year-over-year.

At the Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company (NJFC), both fertilizer production and sales surged by 25%.

Meanwhile, the Indo-Jordan Chemicals Limited's (IJC) phosphoric acid production rose 13%, driving a 17% increase in combined domestic and export sales.

Company officials credited the "strong" first-half results to "effective" operational strategies and adaptive planning, which allowed JPMC to maintain growth despite ongoing market volatility and supply chain headwinds.
